To appease my girlfriend, here’s a drawing of Niles Crane, David Hyde Pierce’s character from the television show "Frasier."

Just a random doodle.

hey oscar wilde

hey oscar wilde

A cropped version of the header image I did for Steven Gettis’ excellent online collection of literary sketches, "Hey Oscar Wilde! It’s Clobberin’ Time!!!" — www.heyoscarwilde.com

Click over to his site for the full version. You may have to refresh a few times as the header rotates between mine and those of several other talented artists.

I don’t think I really captured Wilde’s likeness but I think the rest of the image came together rather nicely.

game pieces

December 16th, 2009

One of my hobbies is building games for my friends to play at parties or at the pub. These designs were for a game I made back in January. Since most of the world will never get a chance to play the game (or at least not a version with these symbols), I thought I’d share ‘em here…

ghost projekt characters 01

Tonight I have to finish up the sequence of Ghost Projekt featuring these secondary characters, so I thought I’d show off their designs. I specifically wanted to show the guy in the bottom-left, since he doesn’t really get the screen-time that his pretty mug deserves.

Oh, and the tough guy above him is based on a friend of mine. He’s much friendlier in real life. My apologies to him for how poorly he’ll be treated in the comic.

Sneaking in an update to my Sketchblog so it’s not entirely empty for October…

Just some randomness from a couple different comic jams.

wolverine + moose

Perhaps the only decent Wolverine I’ve ever drawn:

I drew this piece for the “Visions of an Icon” art exhibit which will be raising funds for the Joe Shuster Canadian Comic Book Creator Awards. There will be a preview showing before the Awards ceremony on Sept 26th and the full exhibit will take place at the Speakeasy Comic Show on Nov 5th. The original artwork will then be auctioned off on eBay.
