Check out my blog for prices & more info! 2011-11-09 I have a couple pieces of art in the MOON BASE pop-up show at the InterUrban Gallery, launching this Thursday, Nov 10th in Vancouver's Gastown. 2011-07-23 GHOST PROJEKT is being developed as a live-action television series by SYFY NETWORK! 2011-07-14 I'll be set up at the Emily Carr University of Art + Design this Saturday, July 16th for a new comic convention: EMILY CON. My original comic art is also on display there until July 20th as part of their ART OF COMICS exhibit. 2011-06-09 This weekend I'll be invading Victoria, BC! On Saturday, June 11th, I have a store signing at LEGENDS COMICS from 1 - 2:30pm. Then on Sunday, June 12th, I'll be a guest at VIMACS - Vancouver Island's Most Amazing Collectable Show at Pearkes Field House, Tillicum Mall from 11 - 4pm. EDIT -- My previously announced second signing at CURIOUS COMICS will not be happening this weekend. As such, my LEGENDS COMICS signing will likely run later than 2:30pm. 2011-05-19 COMIXOLOGY has made the first issue of GHOST PROJEKT free to read on your iPad, iPhone or online. The rest of the series is being digitally released on a weekly schedule for $1.99 each issue. 2011-05-03 I'm going to be signing and selling comics at the FREE COMIC BOOK DAY event at Metropolis Comics & Toys on Saturday, May 7th. In other news, the Joe Shuster Awards have nominated Emiko Superstar in the Comics For Kids category. 2009-04-09 Oh hey! I've been nominated in the Artist category of the Joe Shuster Canadian Comic Book Creator Awards. 2009-02-25 Well, it seems Emiko Superstar came up the winner in the Young Adult Graphic Novel category of the Cybils -- the children's and young adults bloggers' literary awards. Good stuff. 2008-11-19 I keep forgetting to post news items here on my main site. My apologies. In the past 10 months, I've been to a bunch of conventions and festivals. I've also had some comics released, such as Emiko Superstar from Minx Books (a line of graphic novels from DC Comics, which will soon be ceasing publication). I also contributed to short stories in House of Mystery #4 from DC/Vertigo and the anthologies Comix & Stories and You Ain't No Dancer vol 3. I'll put a little info about those on my site when I get a chance. My next comic book will be Ghost Projekt, a mini-series that writer Joe Harris and I are doing at Oni Press. My livejournal is still the best place to follow my news and art on a regular basis. But I'm usually good at keeping my upcoming releases & appearances page up-to-date. If I'm slow with this stuff, hopefully it's because I'm busy drawing some great comics for you all to read!
