FOUR-LETTER WORLDS is an anthology featuring work by a number of different writers and artists, all offering their insights on Love, Hate, Fear and Fate and how differing perceptions of those four words tend to inform our lives. Originally planned as a four-issue miniseries, this will be a 144-page trade paperback and it will be out in January, 2005. Some of the creators involved include Amber Benson, John Bernales, Joe Casey, Chynna Clugston-Major, Kieron Dwyer, Jay Faerber, Matt Fraction,
Steven Griffin, Mike Hawthorne, Mike Huddleston, Phil Hester, Antony Johnston, Robert Kirkman, Steve Lieber, Jim Mahfood, Jamie McKelvie, B. Clay Moore, Scott Morse, Mike Norton, Jeff Parker, Jamie S. Rich, Mark Ricketts, Matt Roberts, Eric Stephenson, J. Torres and Andi Watson. The 8-page story I'm illustrating is written by Jay Faerber (NOBLE CAUSES, DODGE'S BULLETS). Entitled LOUD, the story falls under the "hate" theme and peeks into the life of a guy who can't stand the bass coming from his upstairs neighbour's apartment.
